چکیده

A bstract We consider the possibility that dark matter is stabilised by a discrete Z 2 symmetry which arises from subgroup of U(1)′ gauge symmetry, spontaneously broken integer charged scalars, and under chiral quarks leptons do not carry any charges. fermion χ with half-integer charge odd preserved , hence becomes stable candidate, being produced through couplings to right-handed neutrinos vector-like charges, as in type Ib seesaw mechanism. calculate relic abundance such low energy effective model containing few parameters, then high renormalisable complete fourth family fermions, where quark lepton masses arise seesaw-like With inclusion family, lightest can contribute production, enlarging allowed parameter space we explore.

Dark-matter fermion from left-right symmetry

In an unconventional realization of left-right symmetry, the particle corresponding to the left-handed neutrino L [with SUð2ÞL interactions] in the right-handed sector, call it nR [with SUð2ÞR interactions], is not its Dirac mass partner, but a different particle which may be a dark-matter candidate. In parallel to leptogenesis in the SUð2ÞL sector, asymmetric production of nR may occur in the ...

Dark Matter and Dark Gauge Fields

Following the unexpected theoretical discovery of a mass dimension one fermionic quantum field of spin one half, we now present first results on two local versions. The Dirac and Majorana fields of the standard model of particle physics are supplemented by their natural counterparts in the dark matter sector. The possibility that a mass dimension transmuting symmetry may underlie a new standard...

Spontaneously Broken Gauge Symmetry in SUSY Yang-Mills Theories with Matter

The analysis of spontaneous gauge symmetry breaking of N = 1 supersymmetric SU(Nc) Yang-Mills theory with matter is performed. The supersymmetric Rξ-gauge is used and its non-local effects investigated. Superpropagators and vertices are computed, and it is shown that the non-local terms introduced by the Rξ-gauge-fixing are well-behaved in general gauge at one-loop. It is argued that this featu...

WIMP Dark Matter and Neutrino Mass from Peccei-Quinn Symmetry

The Peccei-Quinn anomalous global U(1)PQ symmetry is important for solving the strong CP problem with a cosmologically relevant axion. We add to this the simple (but hitherto unexplored) observation that it also has a residual Z2 symmetry which may be responsible for a second component of dark matter, i.e. an absolutely stable weakly interacting singlet scalar. This new insight provides a theor...

Gauge singlet scalars as cold dark matter.

In light of recent interest in minimal extensions of the Standard Model and gauge singlet scalar cold dark matter, we provide an arXiv preprint of the paper, published as Phys.Rev.
